The charter organization for Pack 205 is Olive Chapel Baptist Church
Olive Chapel Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Apex community since 1850. Founded as part of the Raleigh Baptist Association, this historic church has been serving the spiritual needs of its members for nearly two centuries.
Over the years, Olive Chapel Baptist Church’s ministries have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of its members. The church has become a vibrant center for worship, fellowship, and service to others. In 2016, the church chartered Cub Scout Pack 205, a local Scouting unit that serves boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Pack 205 is grateful for the support of the church, which provides meetings spaces and other resources to the organization, however both the Pack and Troop 205 are not Baptist organizations. The Pack and Troop are a non-sectarian organization in good standing with all major religions and open to everyone regardless of faith.
The active members of Olive Chapel Baptist Church are committed to their faith and to the local community. Each week, members gather for worship service and Bible study, as well as to participate in outreach efforts. The church’s programs and ministries range from women's Bible studies to youth activities and mission trips.
Today, Olive Chapel Baptist Church is a thriving congregation that continues to bring people of all ages together for spiritual growth and service. Located at 600 New Hill Olive Chapel Rd, Apex, NC, the church is an important part of the Apex community and its continued success is a testament to its rich history.
